April 21st - St. Luke's Episcopal in Ballard: Hold for Power and Privilege

This follow-up to Kids and Race: Changing the Narrative empowers educators and parents to give voice to children of color without tokenizing a child who often just wants to fit in. Join us on April 21st at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Ballard (5710 22nd Ave NW, Seattle, WA 98107) from 9:30am to 12:30pm

Our program includes a concurrent children's program for 3 - 9 year olds led by professional educators. Younger or older children are welcome to stay with their parents. Using art, movement, music and conversation, we teach children to notice and celebrate their own power and privilege. Then we encourage them to utilize their individual advantages for the good of those who are most often overlooked.

We make every effort to make our events accessible including ASL. You can get tickets here!
